Burrow was the Heisman Trophy winner in 2019 and led LSU to the College Football National Championship. He is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Cincinnati Bengals have selected former Louisiana State University quarterback Joe Burrow with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Burrow is a 6'4", 221-pound quarterback who threw for 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 15 games for LSU in 2019. He also rushed for 368 yards and five touchdowns.
The Bengals are hoping that Burrow can be the franchise quarterback they have been looking for since the departure of Andy Dalton in 2019. Burrow is a talented passer with a strong arm and good mobility. He is also a good leader and has a high football IQ.
Burrow is expected to start for the Bengals in 2020. He will be tasked with leading the Bengals to their first playoff berth since 2015.
