India Grapples with Heat Wave Amid Soaring Temperatures

Weather Department Issues Heat Wave Warning

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heat wave warning for several parts of the country. The warning has been issued for the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. The IMD has advised people to take precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses such as heatstroke and dehydration.
